About Us

Kent & Dawna Livesay
Kent and Dawna Livesay purchased the farm market and orchard in 1997 from Ernest and Dorothy (Blackledge) Fischer, and named it The Peach Barn & Orchard. Ernest Fischer was a past president of The National Peach Council, and their orchards were at one time the largest peach producers in Oklahoma.
The Fischer's established the farm market at the corner of Highways 69 and 51b in the 1970s. It was this property, and a portion of the Blackledge-Fischer orchards along Highway 69, that were purchased by Kent and Dawna. The Livesay's added a gift area, along with their peach sundaes, shortly after buying the business. In 2006, they added the bakery, and began baking Porter Peach fried pies, whole pies, cobblers, and peach muffins. A year later, they also began offering fresh, made-to-order sandwiches!
Kyle & Nathan
Kent is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in agriculture, and his family has been in the peach business for over 40 years. Kent oversees the growing of the peaches. Dawna has a degree in music, but found she also has a love for the peach retail business. She manages the farm market and it's employees.
They have two sons, Kyle and Nathan, and while the boys are still pretty young, Kyle is good at running the cash register and the peach box maker, and unloading boxes of peaches from the orchard. Younger brother Nathan is the official talker, and daily ice cream taster.
